“The miracle I have been waiting for”

I was one of those lucky teenagers growing up. I am of Asian descent, and I considered myself fortunate that I did not have a speck of uneven colour or complexion, and was always complimented on how beautiful I looked.

It was in my early adulthood that my face, neck, shoulders and upper arms started to develop a combination of cystic acne, blackheads, and noticeable scarring. I began my endless search for “cures” at doctors’ offices, dermatologist, aestheticians, natural health clinics, herbalists, etc.
