Owner/Operator

Sheri Kurtz had a vision, and today that vision is not only a reality but a thriving business: The Sherlase Clinic.

Her background in advertising and media, along with 10 years of electrology, has generated a respected and recognized business of advanced esthetics within the York Region.

Since 2000, Sheri Kurtz has dedicated her time, energy and knowledge to ensure that the Sherlase Clinic offers the most advanced technology in laser equipment, products and services.

Sheri stays true to her vision by ensuring the technicians and the staff are offering the clients the best possible results and service.

As the Sherlase Clinic continues to grow, Sheri is looking forward to the advancements being made in the industry of cosmetics enhancements.

Dr. Jennifer Rotstein, (BSC, MD, CCFP)

Dr Jennifer Rotstein is a family physician specialising in cosmetic medicine. The art of filler facelifts, and botox cosmetic are Dr. Rotstein’s special interests.

Over the past several years, Dr Rotstein has perfected advanced techniques of volume restoration to help a client achieve a more restful appearance while still looking completely natural.

Dr. Rotstein offers complimentary consultations with clients to explore non-surgical approaches to facial rejuvenation.

Nancy Luther, RN

Specializing in Sclerotherapy (vein injections) laser vein treatments, Botox and weight management consultation

Nancy Luther joined the Sherlase Clinic in its inception as part of Sheri Kurtz’s vision to offer the highest level of service with the most current technology in advanced aesthetics.

Nancy has 32 years experience as a Registered Nurse and specializes in Sclerotherapy (vein injections), Laser vein treatments, Botox and weight loss management. Nancy’s skill and professionalism brings referrals from physicians, medical professionals and satisfied customers.

Angela Colangelo

Laser Specialist, Certified in Chemical Peels

Angela brings to Sherlase Clinic over 20 years of knowledge and experience in the Aesthetic & Electrology industry. With extensive training in Medical Aesthetics, and as a Certified Medical Aesthetician, Angela provides every client a personal consultation to ensure that optimal results are achieved.

Offering a full spectrum of the most advanced options in laser hair removal, laser skin treatments using Elos technology as well as cellulite reduction using Velashape, Angela specializes in treating dark skin pigments.  Angela’s skills are constantly being updated as technologies and procedures change.

Haley Evans

EMCA licensed paramedic, Skincare Laser Technician

In 1989 Haley started her career as an Orthopedic Tech at Markham Stoufville Hospital.

With over nine years experience in Advanced Skincare, Haley was the Clinical Director of the North Ajax Medi-Spa.  Prior to that, Haley managed and operated the Laser Studio for Dr. Nolan Kane, Facial Plastic Surgeon.  In addition, she has worked in conjunction with Sherlase’s own Dr. Rotstein consulting clients on Botox and fillers.

Haley is known for her “results oriented” approach to skincare.  She specializes in treating darker pigmented skin.  She is fastidious in treatment protocol, safety, hygiene, and homecare.  She has extensive knowledge in Elos technology including Matrix treatments. She is an expert in Physicians Choice chemical peels.

Maria Savva

Certified Medical Aethetician, Laser Technician, Certified in Chemical Peels

With fifteen years experience as a Medical Aesthetician and a Certified Laser Technician, Maria spent the last fourteen years with Dr. Charles Lynde of the Lynde Centre for Dermatology.  She is continually taking courses to ensure her skills are current and up-to-date.  Maria specializes in laser hair removal and chemical peels.  She possesses considerable knowledge of Elos technology which includes Matrix treatments (photo-rejuvenation, refirme skin tightening, Velashape, wrinkle and skin renewal treatment).  By practicing exceptional hygienic and sterile techniques, she gains a glowing rapport with her clients.

Donna Prymok, R.H.O.P.

Registered Nutritionist

Donna is an honours graduate from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Toronto, as well as a Registered Nutritional Consulting Practitioner and a Registered Orthomolecular Holistic Practitioner. She belongs to the Certified Nutritional Practitioners Council of Canada and the International Organization of Nutritional Consultants. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer with the Canadian Association of Fitness Professionals and is certified in Foot and Hand Reflexology by the Reflexology Association of Canada.

Registered Orthomolecular Health Practitioners are scientific evidence-based trained nutritional professionals who can educate you about diet, lifestyle and detoxification for optimum health and energy.

Sally Elson

Office Manager
Since 2005, Sally Elson has been the warm and friendly face that greets you at Sherlase. Sally has both a Medical Office and Lab Assistant diploma as well as the Ontario Management diploma (O.M.D.P).

Sally likes to stay current in the industry and attends many skincare seminars which keeps her up to date on the treatments and products available at the Sherlase Clinic. Sally is proficient at finding the treatment and the technician who is right for you based on your skincare needs.
